UK Forecast - June 18, 2018
Rather Unsettled. Varied Temperatures.

Tuesday
Mainly dry start to Tuesday for most with some bright or sunny spells and becoming very warm across more southern areas of the UK in particular. Through the afternoon and evening though and increasingly cloudy and wet conditions will develop across Ireland and spread across much of Scotland and perhaps in to some areas of N England too. Temperatures just 12C to 15C across the north, but 18C to 23C across more southern areas.


Tuesday Night
A period of wet and very windy weather is forecast for many northern and western areas overnight with some heavy rain across N Ireland and into Scotland as well. Drier further south with clear spells and variable cloud. Cool in the far north, just 6C or 7C, elsewhere very mild, lows 11C to 15C.
 


Wednesday
An area of low pressure crossing Scotland on Wednesday brings cloud and rain here. The rain may be heavy at times in northern and western areas. Rain affecting Northern Ireland and also western coast of Ireland. The rain area slipsinto northwest England although gets lighter as it reaches Wales later. Elsewhere that day should be generally bright with sunny spells, the best of these in eastern and southern England. Winds will be moderate south-westerly but will be fresh on western coasts. Temperatures reaching highs of 24C in south-east England but only 12C in the wetter north west of Scotland.


Thursday
High pressure is forecast to build into the UK, from the west, through the course of the day. Some scattered showers are possible across parts of the north and east but many areas will become dry with some decent spells of sunshine through the day, these best in the west. A cool and fresh day mind despite the sunny weather and a cool or rather chilly night to follow. Highs 12C to 18C, highest across south-east England.
